To change the view type between List style and Grid style, select the appropriate icon at the top right of the Apps page.

On the Apps page of your hub, press the hamburger menu icon at the top right to sort apps in a list view
Select the Bento menu to the right of the hamburger menu to sort Apps in a grid view

Apps page

When you first load the Apps page, it will look like the screen below, but with no apps preloaded. To load an app, click the Add Built-In App button in the upper-right corner.

The apps page will display, [A] the installed apps on your hub, and [B] any associated "child apps". At the top right is [C], a button to add "User apps", and [D] to the right of the user apps button, there is a button for installing "Built-in Apps" included as part of your hub platform software. Directly below the user apps button, there is [E] a search field to quickly find an installed app, and [F] the app status window can be opened for each app when you press the gear icon to the left of the app name in the list.

Once one or more apps are loaded, the Apps Page lists all of your loaded apps (A) and related child apps (B). Click on any app in the App List to edit its settings. To see a list of available apps click either the Add User App (C) or Add Built-In App (D) buttons and select the app. Use the Search bar (E) to find a specific app quickly. For detailed information about the triggers and devices used in the app, as well as the current state of the app, click the gear icon (F) to open up the App Status window similar to the one below. The type of information listed will vary by app.

Disable Apps

Rather than removing an app you suspect may be causing an issue with your hub, you can simply disable it to see if the problem is resolved.

  1. Select the X at the top right to reveal the Disable check boxes.
  2. Enabling the checkmark in the box to the left of the app name is a fast and simple way to troubleshoot custom apps you suspect may be affecting the performance or operation of your hub.
  3. Remove the checkmark from the Disable checkbox to re-enable the app.
  4. Select the red X to hide the Disable checkboxes from view. NOTE: The disable check boxes will remain visible after a page refresh or when leaving and returning to the Apps page. The X will also remain red when any of the boxes has a checkmark.
To disable an App, press the "X" icon at the top right of the apps list view, just to the right of the Bento menu icon.
