How to update your hub

  1. Select Settings in the sidebar.
  2. Choose Check for Updates.
    From the settings page, press the "Check for Updates" card
  3. If an update is available, select Update Hub.
    • NOTE: It is not mandatory that you update your hub. The choice is yours alone. If you choose to update, you can view the release notes in the update window or at a later time by visiting the Platform Release Notes doc.
      If a platform update is available, it will show the current available update with release notes
  4. Accept the Terms of Service
    Read and accept the terms of service
  5. Your hub will go through the installation process automatically. This process may take several minutes. When the install is complete, you will be brought back to the home page of the Hubitat Web Interface.
    You hub will download the platform update and show the download progress
    After downloading, it will automatically verify the download
    The platform update is compressed and in this stage it will be automatically extracted
    After the download has been extracted, it will be automatically applied to the hub
    When updating is complete, your hub will automatically reboot
