How to manage accounts linked to your hub v2

Follow these steps to create Guest Accounts, change the administrator account linked to your Hubitat Elevation®, or remove linked accounts.

Creating new guest login accounts

  1. From the hub Web Interface, press the Hubitat Elevation logo to navigate to the home screen.

  2. Select the My Account card. This will take you to https://my.hubitat.com/

  3. Select the Create Account link.

  4. Enter the user email address and a secure password.

  5. Check the newly added user email account for the confirmation code.

  6. The email sender is accountverification@hubitat.com.
    • NOTE: Check your email SPAM or JUNK folders if you cannot find the email in your inbox.

  7. Enter the verification code from the email and press the Confirm Code button.

  8. Select the Registered Hubs card to the list of your hubs that are registered.

  9. Select Hub Details.

  10. Enter the email address of a registered user.
    • NOTE: If the user you wish to add is not registered, log out of your account and return to Step 3 above to select the Create Account link.

  11. The new guest account has been added to your hub. You can press the icon to the right of account Role column if you want to remove the account from your hub.
