Setup overview

  1. Visit pushover.net to create an account and obtain a user token (a long string of random letters and numbers).
  2. Add the devices that will receive the notification, such as a phone or tablet.
  3. Create an application, which will in-turn respond with an app token (an additional long string of random letters and numbers).
  4. On your Hubitat Elevation® hub, create one or more virtual devices, and set their driver to Pushover.
  5. Paste the two separate Tokens you received when creating a Pushover account.
  6. Select Save.
  7. Use your Pushover device(s) in Rule Machine® rules and Hubitat Elevation® apps to send notifications.
